Belarus maintains second position in potassium export to China
According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, in January — March 2026, the country purchased potassium fertilizers worth $1.65 billion. For the same period in 2025, imports cost the PRC approximately $1 billion, writes Myfin.by.

Russia, by the results of the first quarter of 2026, leads the top suppliers of potassium to the Chinese market. The PRC imported Russian fertilizers worth $505.9 million.
In second place in the ranking is Belarus. In January — March, China imported potassium fertilizers from our country worth $409.9 million.
The top 5 suppliers also include:
- Canada (import cost for China — $314.7 million);
- Laos ($243.4 million);
- Israel ($90.9 million).
If we consider potassium imports to the PRC for March 2026, Belarus maintains its second position ($132.1 million), trailing only Russia ($174.3 million).
