Moscow Received an Invitation to the G20 Summit in Miami at the Highest Level
The event will take place on December 14–15, 2026.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Moscow received an invitation to the G20 summit in Miami at the highest level. This was announced by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin, writes "Current Time".
The event will take place on December 14–15, 2026, in the USA.
“There is an invitation to attend at the highest level, but we will see closer to the date: God knows what will happen by then,” Pankin said.
At the end of 2025, Marat Berdeev, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for G20 and APEC issues, said that Russia was actively preparing for the Miami summit and had already appointed its representatives "in all specified areas."
Russia's representative to the G20, Svetlana Lukash, noted that the American authorities expect to see leaders of all participating countries at the summit, including Vladimir Putin. He last personally participated in the G20 summit in 2019.
