Radioactive Waste Management Enterprise Hid Structure and Staff After Director from KGB Arrived
The state enterprise for radioactive waste management "BelRAO" has completely classified information about its employees and internal structure. This happened amidst the appointment of former KGB officer Mikhail Kisely as the new head and coincided with the active phase of selecting a site for the future nuclear repository.
The disappearance of information from the enterprise's website was noticed by "Flagstock". This happened after the appointment of former KGB officer Mikhail Kisely to the position of director of the "BelRAO" enterprise.

With these actions, the state effectively made it clear that those responsible for making decisions related to radioactive waste management will no longer be in the public domain.
Now, the main source of information about the state of the radioactive repository will be a dosimeter, the publication writes.
Currently, an official process is underway in Belarus to select a site for the permanent storage of radioactive waste. The choice is between three districts: Khoiniki, Mstislavl, and Astravets.
