A large banner and large jerseys in the stands, and jerseys with thanks on the players.

In the city of Deventer, they showed how to reward loyalty to a club and good work. The local club "Go Ahead Eagles", which plays in the top division, retired laundress Carla Vity with the entire stadium, sports.ru writes.

What did the "Eagles" do? They organized a massive send-off. Before the match against AZ Alkmaar, the stadium turned into one big thank you. A giant banner in the stands — not in honor of a prolific striker, but in honor of a woman who for years remained in the shadows.

"Carla is a club icon. Thank you for everything!" — wrote the fans. Also, on the banner next to Carla's portrait, there were club jerseys from various years, hung on clothespins — symbolically, a commemorative collage.

The legendary laundress was presented with a huge frame containing moments from all 27 years of her work — a true history of the club in one image.

The players came onto the field in "Thank you, Carla" jerseys. It looked exceptionally stylish and respectful.

Carla, of course, couldn't hold back and burst into tears right on the field to the chanting of the stands.
