Russian drones hit Odesa and Odesa region, there are casualties
On the night of May 3, Russian troops again attacked Odesa and the Odesa region with drones. Port and urban civilian infrastructure came under attack.

According to information from the local prosecutor's office, two people died and five more were injured as a result of the attack.
In two settlements, five private residential buildings were partially destroyed. Port infrastructure was also damaged. The fire that broke out after the strike was quickly extinguished.

The Air Force of Ukraine reported that a total of one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 268 attack drones were launched over the country's territory during the night. According to their data, air defense systems shot down 249 drones.
Hits by a missile and 19 drones were also recorded in 15 locations, and debris from shot-down targets fell in one other location.
In addition to the Odesa region, the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions were also under attack last night.
Recently, Russian strikes on Odesa and the region have been regular. Previous drone attacks occurred on April 30, and also on May 1 and 2.
