Princess Isabella, daughter of King Frederik X of Denmark, arrived on Monday at Antvorskov barracks, where she will spend 11 months of military service in the Guard Hussar Regiment.
It is noted that Isabella refused to receive a housing allowance of 8,300 Danish kroner (1,100 euros), as well as a salary of 9,000 kroner (1,200 euros). The princess will undergo basic training, which lasts five months, after which she will proceed to a six-month phase of combat and practical service.
Journalists noted that the princess's elder brother, Crown Prince Christian, previously served in the Guard Hussar Regiment.
