Indian cargo ship sank off the coast of Yemen after being hit by a projectile
The Indian cargo ship MSV Faize Noore Oliya sank off the coast of Yemen after being hit by a projectile. After the impact, the ship capsized and went underwater.

All 14 crew members were rescued by the Yemeni coast guard and taken to the port of Mocha. Among them are 12 Indian citizens.
India's Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condemned the attack, calling it a provocation against a defenseless vessel, and instructed maritime authorities to take additional measures for the safety of Indian seafarers in the region, as well as to provide necessary assistance to the crew.
It was previously reported that Yemeni Houthis are considering introducing fees for commercial vessels passing through the southern Red Sea. In July, they also announced a naval blockade of Saudi Arabia, calling it a response to the multi-year blockade of Yemen.
