In Grodno, taxi drivers received salaries in envelopes for almost three years
In Grodno, over 120 taxi drivers received part of their salary unofficially for approximately three years. The total amount of payments not reflected in the company's accounting exceeded 940 thousand rubles, the press service of the State Control Committee reported.

The scheme was uncovered by employees of the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee for Grodno Region.
As it turned out, money was given to drivers 'in envelopes', without including it in the official reporting of the company, which was engaged in taxi passenger transportation.
As a result, the state underreceived over 120 thousand rubles in taxes and other mandatory payments.
A criminal case has been initiated against the actual head of the company. He is suspected of evading tax obligations in an especially large amount.
