Ozon plans to create a large logistics complex in Orsha
This year, Ozon plans to open a large fulfillment center in Orsha, which will be comparable in size to the company's similar facility in Minsk. This was announced by Sergey Gasoyan, director of Ozon Belarus, according to Myfin.
A fulfillment center is a large logistics complex where sellers' goods are stored and buyers' orders are processed.
In addition, the sorting center in Orsha has already been expanded. After increasing its capacity, it will become one of the largest and most technological in Belarus, according to Sergey Gasoyan. The company also plans to implement modern solutions there that are not yet available to all market participants.
Ozon entered the Belarusian market in 2021, and since then, interest in the marketplace in the country has significantly grown. The company expects a further increase in the number of orders next year.
Currently, Ozon's logistics network in Belarus includes a fulfillment center in Minsk and sorting centers in Minsk, Orsha, Baranovichi, and Grodno. The Grodno center opened in August.
The company links the growth in the number of facilities to increased demand. In the second quarter of 2026, Belarusians placed three times more orders on Ozon than in the same period last year.
At the same time, in Russia, the company has faced drone attacks on its facilities. Since the end of August, about ten Ozon facilities have been affected, with the most significant damage sustained by two large distribution centers — in the Saratov and Samara regions.
