Pavel Durov, the founder of the social network "VKontakte," commented on today's strikes by Ukrainian drones on the VK data center.

"The data center blown up today near St. Petersburg I built 15 years ago. I sold it to VK 12 years ago. It's clear it was built conscientiously, the walls are thick. But they didn't protect it," Durov wrote on his channel.

The VK company previously confirmed an attack on its data center in the Leningrad region. Users complained about problems accessing "VKontakte."

Durov himself has not owned "VKontakte" since 2014 — back then he resigned from the CEO post and sold his share in the company. Now the billionaire is engaged in developing the Telegram messenger.
