Migrant workers in Belarus have been warned about what could lead to their expulsion from the country.

A meeting between foreign employees and the police took place at the "Smalyavichy Broiler" enterprise. Currently, 600 foreigners work there.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies threatened workers that even minor offenses could cause them problems with legalization. Nighttime noise, petty hooliganism, drinking alcohol in a public place — all this can become grounds for reviewing their residency status.

"You came here to work and help your families. But if an emergency occurs at the workplace where you are not officially employed, it will primarily be a disaster for you. Illegal side jobs are unacceptable," the Telegram channel "Minsk Region Police" quotes Svetlana Rabovich, Deputy Head of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

Police warned that in case of systematic violations, the issue of expulsion will be raised immediately.
