Volodymyr Zelenskyy remained in Norway after yesterday's meeting with U.S. negotiator for Ukraine, Steve Whitcoff. Norway expects that after the completion of negotiations in Russia, Whitcoff will return to Oslo on Wednesday, which may indicate the activation of negotiations and a shift to "shuttle diplomacy," writes Moscow Times.

"This morning, we held another meeting with Jonas in Oslo. A lot depends on whether the American side manages to hear something new from Russia today — about peace, not about the continuation of the war," Zelenskyy reported on Wednesday in his social networks.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre stated that after the completion of negotiations in Russia, Whitcoff will return to Oslo on Wednesday.

"Perhaps we will meet him at the airport. We hope to get information from him," said Støre.

The day before, after a meeting with Whitcoff, Zelenskyy stated that the U.S. and Ukraine agreed in Norway on a number of proposals for ending the war in Ukraine, including security guarantees for Kyiv.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that Whitcoff's meeting with Zelenskyy was positive and that Whitcoff would convey its results to Russia.
