"Mulavin's Mustache" and "Euphrosyne's Cringe": Blogger ITBeard Created Alias in Belarusian
Belarusian Aliaksei Kartynnik, known online as blogger ITBeard, "vibe-coded" a Belarusian version of the well-known game "Alias," where you have to explain given words without naming them, writes the publication Spravy.io.

«Recently, my friends and I were sitting around and wanted to play 'Alias.' I went looking for a Belarusian-language version — and couldn't find one. We had to play the Russian-language version, which was not good at all,» — Aliaksei recalls.

While the game was going on, the blogger opened his computer, launched Claude Code, and gave it the task "make Alias in Belarusian." As a result, a prototype was ready by the end of the game, and the next day, Aliaksei, together with Claude and Junie, brought the game to a presentable state in a few hours. It is now available on the website alias.itbeard.com.

Game Rules:
One person explains the word, the others in the team guess. The word itself and its cognates cannot be named, nor can it be translated into another language. Time is limited, so even a simple word becomes very challenging.
Inside the game are 886 Belarusian words, conceived by artificial intelligence, three difficulty levels, and the ability to play with one team or gather up to five teams for competition. You can play directly in your phone's browser, without downloading or registration, and the game's code is open source.

Aliaksei Kartynnik also added some nice little touches:
«There's a mode for Belarusian Latin script, you can choose a light or dark theme. And the team names here are like 'Mulavin's Mustache' and 'Euphrosyne's Cringe' — if you understood what that means, then a warm greeting to you!»
Later, the blogger added an 18+ mode to "Alias in Belarusian," which includes an additional 106 words.
For errors in words or the service's operation, the blogger asks you to write to him personally or report them on GitHub.
However, this is not the first version of the word game that Belarusians have "vibe-coded" — as "Spravy" wrote back in August, Belarusian Ales, who works as a manager at an IT startup, also faced the problem of not being able to play Alias in Belarusian. And as a result, with the help of AI services, he created his own game tlumach.app.
