Russian Foreign Ministry called the blocking of Belarusian propagandists on YouTube "barbarism"
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized the blocking of Belarusian state media on YouTube, calling it "barbarism of the 21st century".

Maria Zakharova said in her comment that such actions are being justified by the fight against inaccurate information, but, in her opinion, such approaches are unfounded.
«This is barbarism of the 21st century, which they are trying to justify with various pretexts, for example, the fight against unreliable content. Why don't they start with themselves,» — commented the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
She also suggested that Belarusian media switch to Russian internet platforms, specifically the Max service.
On April 3, the YouTube service deleted the channels of the BelTA news agency, as well as ONT and STB TV channels, explaining this by the effect of sanctions. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry stated that this is a gross violation of UN principles, and the Ministry of Information noted that it reserves the right to take retaliatory measures.
