Next week will bring rains, fogs, and even wet snow

Next week, from April 20 to 26, the weather in Belarus will be unstable: a cold snap, rains, fogs, and even wet snow on some days are expected, forecasted by forecaster Dmitry Ryabov on ONT.

At the beginning of the week, the country will still be under the influence of a high-pressure area, but cold and humid air from the north will gradually start to arrive.

On Monday, scattered light rains are possible, mainly in the east. Fog will appear in places at night and in the morning. Night temperatures may drop to sub-zero values in the northeast, while daytime temperatures will be around +8…+12.

On Tuesday, it will get even cooler. Rains will fall in the southeast, and even wet snow is possible at night and in the morning. Other regions will mostly be without significant precipitation, but high humidity and fogs will persist. Daytime temperatures will be approximately +5…+11.

On Wednesday, the weather will not change significantly: it will be cloudy with clearings, without precipitation, but with fogs at night and in the morning. Night temperatures will range from slightly below zero to +3, and daytime temperatures will reach up to +15 in western regions.

From Thursday, it will gradually start to warm up. Warmer and more humid air masses will enter the country, bringing short-term rains. It will get warmer at night – up to +3…+7, and during the day – up to +13…+17.

On Friday, most areas will be without precipitation, with variable cloudiness and a warm wind. Daytime temperatures will reach +10…+17.

Over the weekend, the weather will again become more unstable. Rains are possible on Saturday and Sunday, variable cloudiness and rather high humidity will persist. Fogs in places at night and in the morning. Nevertheless, temperatures will remain quite comfortable: up to +20 in the south on Saturday, and around +10…+17 on Sunday.

Overall, the week will be changeable: from night frosts and possible snowflakes at its beginning to warmer and more spring-like weather at its end.
