SBU detained an agent in Kyiv who worked for Belarusian special services
The Security Service of Ukraine detained an agent in Kyiv who simultaneously worked for Russian and Belarusian special services. On the instructions of the Border Committee of Belarus, the man spied on the positions of Ukrainian military personnel, and for Russian curators, he adjusted strikes on energy facilities in the capital region, the SBU reports.

The detainee is a local handyman who was recruited through Telegram channels for his pro-Kremlin comments.
The man observed one of Kyiv's thermal power plants directly from his apartment window and also visited the facilities to assess their technical condition after past shelling. The Russians planned to use this information for new attacks to leave Kyiv's residential buildings and social infrastructure without heating, the SBU reports.
According to the report, the man hoped that after completing his tasks, he would be evacuated outside the country. However, SBU officers detained him.
Currently, the man is in custody and has been notified of suspicion of high treason. For aiding the enemy under martial law, the detainee faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
