"Orion" has already covered more than half the distance to the Moon

Astronauts of the "Artemis-2" mission aboard the "Orion" spacecraft have already flown more than half the distance from Earth to the Moon.
According to NASA's online tracker, "Orion" has already covered more than 246,000 km from Earth, with 197,000 km remaining. The distance from our planet to the Moon is about 384,400 km.
The launch of the SLS (Space Launch System) super heavy-lift rocket, which put "Orion" into orbit, took place on the night of April 2 at Cape Canaveral in Florida. On April 3, the spacecraft entered a translunar trajectory.
The crew will orbit the far side of the Moon without landing on its surface. The mission is designed for ten days. The spacecraft will fly at a distance of approximately 8,000 km from the surface of the satellite.
The crew includes NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, as well as Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
