The Border Committee Showed Passports With Which Belarusians Were Turned Back at the Border
More than 160 problematic documents have been presented at the border since the beginning of the year, reported the State Border Committee.
The department even demonstrated examples of pages from Belarusian passports with which people were not allowed across the border. 80 foreigners tried to enter Belarus without a visa.

Another 33 people presented passports with damaged photos or blurred seals of the issuing authorities. For four Belarusians, their passports were in the database of invalid documents.
In addition, two foreigners tried to cross the border with a forged and someone else's document. More than 30 citizens of Belarus and other countries presented expired passports. Most often, this happened because people did not replace their documents after a change of surname.
On Threads, people started asking the SBC which "not-so-fresh" document would definitely pass control — to understand.
— The main thing is that all document details are in order (seals, stamps, data), and if, for example, a page is torn, then it must be replaced, — the department advised. Border guards also added that damaged documents are confiscated at the border, so trying to pass with them again, hoping for the understanding of another employee, will not work.
