One of the most famous books on Buddhism to be released in Belarusian
Gutenberg Publishing House announced that it has acquired the rights for the Belarusian translation of Thich Nhat Hanh's book "The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching: Transforming Suffering into Peace, Joy, and Liberation" ("Сэрца вучэння Буды: як пераўтварыць пакуты ў спакой і радасць").
Larysa Ivashkevich, Anton Taras, and Maks Shchur are working on the translation in cooperation with the publishing house. The book is planned to be released at the end of 2026.
This is one of the most famous and accessible books on Buddhism, in which the author — a Zen master and thinker — simply and profoundly explains the fundamentals of the Buddha's teaching.
This book is also about how to work with pain, anxiety, and uncertainty in daily life — and gradually transform them into peace, joy, and freedom.
The publisher reports that many call the book "an entry into Buddhism": it does not require prior knowledge.
