Heart Attack, Serious Condition. Information Emerges About Imprisoned Catholic Priest Parakhnevich and His Accusation

The 65-year-old priest remains in the pre-trial detention center in serious condition.

As believers have learned, Father Anatol Parakhnevich, who serves as a parish priest in the Vileika district and has been imprisoned for over a month, suffered a heart attack. The 65-year-old priest remains in the pre-trial detention center in serious condition, writes katolik.life.

Also, as far as believers know, the priest is accused of "treason." What exactly the charges are is not known. It is presumed that the priest is being held in the KGB pre-trial detention center. Unknown masked individuals in several cars came to arrest him, and his house was sealed.

Recall that Father Genrikh Akalatovich was also convicted on charges of "treason," and he was released through Vatican mediation four months before the arrest of Father Anatol Parakhnevich.
