The artist Skrapetski, killed in Biała Podlaska, left behind five children, and his widow is pregnant with the sixth
The last post published in Skrapetski's Telegram channel a few hours before the murder — screenshots with threats of reprisal after his action near the Russian embassy in Berlin.

The artist Skrapetski, killed in Biała Podlaska, left behind five children, and his widow is pregnant with the sixth. This was reported to DW by an activist of the Belarusian diaspora in Biała Podlaska, who wished to remain anonymous.
He met the artist in 2021. According to him, Semyon Skrapetski repeatedly participated in anti-war rallies held in the city by Belarusians and Ukrainians. The DW interlocutor described Biała Podlaska as a calm and safe city and believes that Skrapetski chose it for living precisely for this reason.
"Everything is in plain sight. You know every car, everyone. He has five children, now his wife is pregnant with the sixth. And here, in a small town, it's easier for a large family to live," the DW interlocutor said.
Earlier, the artist's widow, Viktoriya Ivanitskaya, reported on social networks that she and her children were safe under the protection of Polish special services.
Skrapetski was shot dead in Biała Podlaska on the morning of June 15. Three days before that, he held an action against the Russian authorities near the Russian embassy in Berlin. Semyon Skrapetski (real name — Robert Kuzavkov) was born in Russia in 1981. Until 2021, he lived in the Altai Krai, then, fearing political persecution, emigrated to Poland and received international protection status there.
First and foremost, Skrapetski was known for his political caricatures, including those of Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov, Alexei Navalny, and Alexander Lukashenka. He also held protest actions in various European cities.
On June 12, the artist approached the queue for a gala reception, holding a painting depicting Joseph Stalin cradling Russian President Vladimir Putin. Behind him, in his pants, there was a hole from which a Russian flag protruded and dragged along the ground. Skrapetski then threw it into a trash can.

"I think after this action in Berlin, someone gave the order to eliminate him," suggests Andrei (name changed), an activist of the Belarusian diaspora in Biała Podlaska.
Andrei last saw the artist last week. He got the impression that he was "apprehensive."
Belarusian performance artist Vlad Bokhan also contacted Skrapetski shortly before his death. According to him, Skrapetski had recently become particularly engrossed in street performance art: "We spoke less than a day before the murder. He was discussing new ideas, offering to do something together — in Warsaw or Berlin. He was determined to continue working, making plans."
Bokhan also notes that threats constantly accompanied the artist's activities: ill-wishers wrote under every one of his posts.
He also points out that due to critical publications against the Ukrainian authorities, Skrapetski's data ended up in the "Myrotvorets" database, where, in addition to a description of his activities, personal information, including his address and accounts, was published.
