In the new academic year, the cost of a set of school textbooks in Belarus will be 22 rubles 50 kopecks.
The price for renting textbooks in schools and kindergartens is tied to the base value, which as of January 2026 is 45 rubles.
A resolution of the Council of Ministers established that the payment for using a set of textbooks for the general secondary education program is 0.5 of the base value.
Thus, for students receiving secondary education from grades 1 to 11, school textbooks will cost 22 rubles 50 kopecks.
A discount is provided for large families, the cost will be 11.25 rubles.
Textbooks for preschoolers will cost 9 rubles.
The payment for using textbooks must be made by October 1st.
Payment can be made via an infokiosk, bank, post office, or through ERIP.
