Trump hopes for an agreement between Zelensky and Putin before a harsh winter
US President Donald Trump stated that he hopes for an agreement to be reached between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin before the onset of a harsh winter.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said he wants Zelensky and Putin to agree among themselves. According to him, the negotiation process is ongoing, and he hopes that an agreement will be reached in the near future, possibly before the start of a harsh winter.
When asked about Patriot missiles, Trump noted that he had spoken extensively with Zelensky, but did not give a specific answer regarding the matter.
Earlier, Zelensky reported that during a meeting with Trump in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the US president stated his readiness to provide Ukraine with licenses for the production of Patriot missiles. According to Zelensky, Trump said he had made a final decision regarding the issuance of such licenses to Ukraine.
