19-year-old driver fatally hit a woman in Smalyavichy district

The incident occurred yesterday around 18:20 near the village of Kulyashouka, according to the traffic police.

The Toyota driver, moving on a right-hand curve, hit a 65-year-old female pedestrian. The victim was crossing the road from right to left in the direction of the vehicle's movement.

After the collision, the car lost control and went into a roadside ditch.

As a result of the accident, the pedestrian died at the scene from her injuries.

Passengers of the car were also injured: a 14-year-old girl received medical assistance, and two 16-year-old girls with injuries were taken to the hospital.
