"We have one dream — that he croaks." Zelenskyy congratulated on Christmas

The President of Ukraine, in his Christmas address, spoke about a traditional belief according to which a sincere wish can be heard by God on Christmas night and will surely come true.

"Dear people, Ukrainians have long believed that on Christmas night, the heavens open, and if you tell your dream, it will come true.

Today, we all have one dream. And we make one wish for all. 'May he croak!' — everyone will say to themselves, but when we turn to God, of course, we ask more broadly. We ask for peace for Ukraine. We fight for it. And we pray for it. And we deserve it," Zelenskyy noted.

The speech, likely, refers to Vladimir Putin, who has been waging war against Ukraine for almost four years, killing Ukrainians.

"On the eve of Christmas, the Russians once again showed their true face — hundreds of Shaheds, hitting like godless people who have nothing in common with Christianity. But we hold on, we pray for those on the front, those in captivity — that they return alive," he added.
