Aliaksandr Lukashenka appointed 48-year-old Volha Anufryieva as the head of the publishing house «Belarus Siahodnia» («SB. Belarus Today»).
Since December 2024, she held the position of director — chief editor of the publishing house «Zviazda», and before that, she worked as chief editor at another state publication — the newspaper «Respublika».
Anufryieva is from Hrodna; she graduated from the Faculty of History and Sociology of Hrodna State University and was the chief editor of «Viacherni Hrodna».
The former head of «Belarus Siahodnia», Dzmitry Zhuk, was appointed Minister of Information.
