Upon arrival at the scene, police officers observed a large number of cars along the highway, as well as a mass gathering of people in clearings in the nearby forest belt.
According to law enforcement officials, the purpose of the gathering was a drift car exhibition. Its organization was not coordinated with the authorities, and participants were invited via social networks.
Approximately 600 people and over 250 vehicles were present at the scene. Administrative protocols were drawn up against the organizers and most active participants, which have been sent to court.
Law enforcement officials informed those present about the need to leave the site of the unauthorized event, and traffic police officers took appropriate measures.
