Democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya issued a statement after a new incident involving a Belarusian bus in Russia's Bryansk region.

"For the second time in two weeks, a bus with Belarusians has come under attack on Russian territory. Once again, our people are becoming victims of the criminal war that Russia unleashed against Ukraine and continues to drag our Belarus into.
This is also a consequence of Lukashenka's irresponsible policy and the regime's propaganda, which stubbornly support this war, and of those authorities who ignore the threats and continue to send Belarusians to Russia.
"I urge you, do not travel to Russia. Someone profits from tours there, as if it's safe — it's not. And the so-called authorities, it seems, don't care how many more Belarusians will suffer. Take care of yourselves," Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya stated.
On July 2, in the Zlynka district of the Bryansk region, a Belarusian tourist bus, traveling on the Minsk — Anapa route, was hit by a drone. There were 19 passengers in the cabin. After the incident, all Belarusian citizens were taken to the Gomel region, while six Russian citizens remained at a temporary accommodation point in the Bryansk region. Three injured individuals were released home after examination at the Gomel Regional Clinical Hospital — their injuries were minor.
