Problems with A1 mobile communication and internet in Gomel Region
Gomel authorities report "temporary" problems, but say nothing about the scale of the incident.
Gomel authorities report problems with the A1 operator. They distributed the operator's press release.
"We inform you that currently, some of the company's customers may experience temporary difficulties with access to voice communication services and mobile internet. A1's technical services are already engaged in promptly eliminating the consequences of the incident and restoring the normal operation of the equipment. Please note: until the full completion of restoration work, short-term interruptions in service functionality are possible," the message states.
From the authorities' statement, it is impossible to understand who was affected by the loss of communication.
Readers of the "Mocnyja Naviny" (Strong News) publication report problems with A1 communication in various cities. In addition to mobile internet, there are interruptions with cable television.
"No connection, I called A1, they said the connection was down in Gomel and the region, Mogilev and the region, there are problems on the data transmission route Minsk — Gomel, Minsk — Mogilev, according to the operator, they are working on troubleshooting," a reader shared in social media comments.
In Zhlobin, according to the publication's readers, the connection was absent for an hour, but the situation has started to improve.
