Since the beginning of the year, five minors have died in Minsk. Four cases were suicides, and one teenager suffocated.
A mother found her 13-year-old son in a noose. It was not a suicide — there were no grounds or intention for the teenager to take his own life. He wanted to record an entertainment video, but the attempt, unfortunately, ended in a fatal accident.
Viktoria Kopylova, Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office Department for Supervision of Compliance with Legislation on Minors and Youth, told "Minsk-News" about another tragic incident: a child with a disability, diagnosed with autism, died.
During lunch, the parents drank three liters of beer and went to rest. Their son initially sat next to them with a phone, but then he got bored, went out onto the balcony, and fell from there.
And in May, two 13-year-old teenagers bought a roll of foil and pipe cleaner mixture from a store. They intended to conduct an experiment with them, mixing the substances in a bottle with water — the boys were curious to see what chemical reaction would occur. Suddenly, the bottle started to heat up and burst in the hands of one of the schoolchildren. Its contents splattered onto his face and neck. The teenager suffered serious burns but survived.
