The median salary in Belarus in November 2025 amounted to 2081.7 rubles. Compared to May of last year, it increased by 67.7 rubles, and compared to November 2024, it grew by 289.5 rubles.
If we consider the net amount, the median salary would be 1790.3 rubles.
Considering the official average dollar exchange rate for November, this would be 703.3 dollars "gross" and 604.8 dollars "net".
The median salary is an indicator that divides all salaries into two equal parts: half of employees receive more than the median, and the other half receive less than this value. It reflects the salary situation more accurately than the average salary indicator. The median salary is announced twice a year: for May and November.
In November 2025, the average accrued salary was 2703.7 rubles "gross" and 2325.3 rubles "net", respectively; with the average dollar exchange rate for November, the gross salary would be 913.4 dollars, and net — $785.5.
Next week, Belstat will announce the average salary for December, which will traditionally be significantly higher than November due to additional year-end payments, and will return to previous positions in January.
