Satellite Broadcasts of State TV Channels Hacked in Iran — Reza Pahlavi Calls for Overthrow of Ayatollah Regime
In Iran, unknown hackers breached the satellite broadcast of state television channels. Instead of regular programming, viewers saw a message from Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah of Iran. He called on Iranian military personnel to side with the protesters and demand the removal of the country's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

A recording of the hack was published on social network X by blogger and publicist Hen Mazzig, founder of the Tel Aviv Institute. The footage shows slogans in Farsi and the reaction of people off-screen.

“I’m going to cry now,” says a woman. A man’s voice, switching channels, doesn't hide his surprise: “Even the sports channel… Wow! They hacked all channels.”
One of the fragments also shows footage from a press conference by Friedrich Merz, where he expressed support for the protesters.
According to activists, the number of deaths in the Iranian protests has risen to 5,000 people.
