Minsk-News was told by the Specialized Installation and Operation Enterprise of the Minsk City Executive Committee about which road signs are most common in Minsk.

The "Pedestrian Crossing" sign takes the lead. It designates an area for pedestrians to cross the roadway. There are more than 23,000 such signs in the city. The top three also include "No Stopping" signs (6,600) and "Give Way" (4,500).
— Over the past 50 years, the number of road signs on the capital's streets has increased by more than 30 times (from 3,500 to 105,122), and traffic lights — by 14 times (from 65 to 914).
