A trip to a restaurant resulted in bodily injuries for a 56-year-old woman.
She was at a friend's birthday party in a restaurant with an acquaintance. After consuming alcohol, according to the woman's friend, she was behaving indecently. The man tried to calm his friend down, but he failed.
In the midst of the evening, the woman «elevated» her dancing skills and climbed onto a chair. At some point, angered, the man knocked the chair out from under her feet, causing his companion to fall.
The woman reported the acquaintance's actions to the police the next day. To qualify the man's act, it was necessary to determine the severity of the bodily injuries. A forensic medical examination was appointed as part of the verification.
As a result, a fracture of the lower third of the radius (one of the two long bones of the forearm), soft tissue contusion of the wrist joint, and bruises were found.
Experts from the State Committee of Forensic Examinations for the Brest region classified the bodily injuries as less severe — based on the sign of prolonged health disorder for a period not exceeding four months.
Experts note that the nature of injuries from a fall, including from one's own height, depends on the impact surface and the part of the body that receives the traumatic impact. The severity of bodily injuries can vary: from bruises and abrasions to serious fractures and even concussions.
