Sanatoriums want Belarusians to pay as much as Russians. How much more expensive can a vacation become?
We looked at the example of several well-known sanatoriums.

Belarusian sanatoriums are preparing to equalize prices for holidays for Belarusians and Russians. They explain this by a unified pricing policy for all citizens of the so-called Union State. It seems that Belarusians will have to pay according to Russian, and therefore higher, tariffs.
The cost of vouchers is determined independently by each sanatorium. In sanatoriums that receive partial state funding or work with trade union programs, reduced tariffs or benefits apply to citizens of Belarus. In others, all clients, regardless of their country of origin, relax under the same conditions and at the same price.
In most popular sanatoriums, the difference between prices for Belarusians and Russians still persists.
Demand for Belarusian sanatoriums from Russians has noticeably increased in recent years. The export of sanatorium services (i.e., revenue from foreigners) for 2025 increased by more than 40%.
How much do Belarusians and Russians currently pay for vouchers? Let's go through specific examples. We note that prices highly depend on the season and the package of services. We are considering today's prices; in summer, they are usually higher.
Sanatorium "Yunost" (Minsk region)
Prices for Belarusians here are around 328–485 BYN per day per person, depending on the room and package. Average: 406.5 BYN.
Prices for tourists from the Russian Federation are around 393-543 BYN per day per person. Average: 468 BYN.
The difference is thus — 15.1%.
"Pridneprovsky" (Gomel region)
Belarusians will pay 120-210 BYN per day per person here (average — 165 BYN), Russians — 128-224.5 BYN (average — 176 BYN).
Difference: 6.7%.
"Alfa Radon" (Grodno region)
For Belarusians in similar sanatoriums, prices are 435-881 BYN per day. Average: 658 BYN.
For Russians — 465-942 BYN. Average: 703.5 BYN.
The difference is 6.9%.
"Belaya Rus" (Naroch)
In the price lists, we see 140-220 BYN per day for Belarusians (average — 180 BYN) and 168-248 BYN for Russians (average — 208 BYN).
Difference: 15.6%.
"Pryaziorny" (Minsk region)
For Belarusians, tariffs are around 269-527 BYN per day (average — 398 BYN), for tourists from the Russian Federation around 300-600 BYN (average — 450 BYN).
Difference — 13.1%.
As we can see, Russians generally pay approximately 7-15% more per day than Belarusians. A complete equalization of tariffs could increase the cost of holidays for Belarusians by approximately this amount.
