According to the First Information Channel, "Polish authorities are planning a further gradual opening of the border with Belarus. Local media report on the resumption of railway connection between the countries from April 1, which will happen soon."
Which specific Polish media reported this is not specified in the material. There are also no links.
The news about the resumption of railway traffic appeared on February 5 in the Telegram channel Infotrans Media Belarus. It contains more details, but also without links to Polish publications:
"The railway connection between Poland and Belarus may open as early as April 1. The issue of opening passenger railway connection between Belarus and Poland is indeed being worked out. The topic has been actively discussed recently. In particular, it was raised at a meeting of the Biała Podlaska city council, and a delegation from Belarusian Railways recently visited border Terespol. The parties are discussing the possibility of resuming passenger railway traffic as early as April 1."
Polish Railways (PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A) denied this information in response to Belsat's inquiry.
"No appeal or request has been received by Polish Railway Lines from carriers. In this regard, the resumption of railway connection with Belarus from April 1 is not planned," states the press service of Polish Railways.
Passenger railway traffic between Poland and Belarus ceased in March 2020. Initially, this was caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Later, traffic did not resume due to sanctions.
