President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on a briefing given to him by the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Oleh Ivashchenko. Among other things, he mentioned important documents obtained by Ukrainian intelligence regarding Russia's assessment of its losses on the battlefield.

"Specifically, a change in the ratio of killed and wounded Russians has been recorded, namely, out of 100% of losses, 62% are killed and 38% are wounded. The Russians themselves, in closed official reports, indicate their level of losses as 1 million 315 thousand killed and severely wounded. We have reason to believe that the data on this level of losses is underestimated," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.
According to the latest calculations by journalists from the BBC Russian Service and Mediazona, based on open data, confirmed Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have exceeded 200,000 people. Over four years of the conflict, at least 200,186 Russian servicemen have died.
