Who is Siarhei Aliseienka, who created an AI chatbot that entered the world's top 10 alongside ChatGPT and Claude?
The ChatOn AI product, created by a fellow student of Viktar Prakapenia at BSUIR, has entered the top 10 most successful global AI products. Also in the top ten is the already renowned startup Perplexity , co-founded by Dzianis Yarats, who hails from Homiel.
And if much has been written about the latter in the media — Yarats is among the top 100 most successful businessmen from Belarus, and Forbes included him in the top richest immigrants in the USA — publications about Aliseienka are still more modest.

In the specialized Sensor Tower ranking, compiled based on revenue volumes, Aliseienka's ChatOn AI is listed alongside ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Suno, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Plaud. At the same time, ChatOn AI surpassed such AI assistants as Kling AI and Manus.
The chatbot was launched by the businessman in early 2023 and is currently fourth in revenue in the UK and Australia, fifth in Italy and Argentina, sixth in Canada and Saudi Arabia, and seventh in Brazil and the UAE. In total, ChatOn already has over 100 million downloads on iOS, Android, and web platforms.
Siarhei Aliseienka was born in 1983 in Minsk. In 2006, he graduated from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. One of his fellow students was, for example, IT entrepreneur Viktar Prakapenia.
One of the first companies founded by Aliseienka in 2016, BP Mobile, continues to successfully develop mobile applications to this day. Its portfolio includes, for example, iScanner, a leader in the American market for document scanning.
Three years later, Aliseienka contributed to the founding of the game studio FreePlay (creators of Count Masters, Fidget Toys Trading, and others).
It was the assets in BP Mobile and FreePlay that brought the Minsker capital and fame. These and other companies are now united under one common umbrella — AIBY Group.
After 2020, the IT entrepreneur reduced his presence in the Belarusian market. It is known that he lives in Miami, where, together with his wife in 2020, they bought a house, and he is a co-owner of local studios Prequel and Highcore Games, which develop applications for applying filters to photos and videos, as well as mobile games.
Siarhei's chosen one is Ukrainian model and lawyer Olesya Stefanko. In 2011, she won the title "Miss Ukraine Universe" and then took second place in the international competition "Miss Universe" itself.
Today, Olesya runs her YouTube blog about a healthy lifestyle and fashion, and also creates training programs for clients.
The couple is raising two children — a boy named Theo and a girl named Kaia.
