How Donald Trump's Wealth Changed During a Year of Presidency

The growth of the US President's capital occurs amidst global economic instability.

Donald Trump continues to successfully combine politics with business: during the first year of his second presidential term, his fortune increased from $5.1 billion to $6.5 billion. The main drivers of growth were not traditional real estate or hotels, but new technological and international projects of the president's family.

According to the ranking by Forbes, Trump ranks 645th among the world's billionaires. The main drivers of growth were new technological and international projects.

A significant portion of the profit — about $550 million — came from the sale of cryptocurrency tokens through World Liberty Financial, which the Trump family launched on the eve of the elections.

The president received another $200 million from the sale of 49% of shares in the same company to Aryam Investment — a firm backed by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's national security adviser and a member of the royal family.

Trump also does not shy away from traditional income: his real estate properties remain popular destinations for global celebrities and the political elite.
