An accident involving a 34-year-old resident of Horki a couple of weeks ago.

After drinking alcohol at home, the man decided to prepare food and began cutting frozen liver with a knife. The knife slipped and struck him in the right side of the abdomen. Bleeding started, and the victim's mother called an ambulance.
At the hospital, the patient underwent a surgical operation and remained under the doctors' supervision for two weeks, according to the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
The man had an abrasion and a stab-incised wound of the anterior abdominal wall with damage to the small intestine; these injuries are classified as grievous bodily harm due to their life-threatening nature.
