The conflict between Lebanon and Israel became the tenth war ended by American President Donald Trump. The countries reportedly agreed on a ten-day ceasefire to conduct negotiations. Trump announced this on his social network Truth Social.

“I just had wonderful conversations with the esteemed President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, and Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu. These two leaders have agreed that to achieve peace between their countries, they will officially begin a 10-day ceasefire at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
On Tuesday, representatives from both countries met here in Washington for the first time in 34 years with our esteemed Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. I have instructed Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Rubio, along with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Razinkane, to work with Israel and Lebanon to achieve lasting peace.
It has been an honor for me to stop 9 wars around the world, and this will be my tenth, so let's do it!” the U.S. President wrote.
