“I confirm, this is indeed his effort — to stop hostilities as soon as possible, preferably by winter. And as the Head of the President's Office, I will certainly do everything to achieve the goal set by the President. In my opinion, it is absolutely correct, timely, and well-thought-out,” Budanov said.
To a clarifying question from journalists about whether such a goal is realistic, Budanov answered affirmatively: “Realistic.”
According to him, Ukraine possesses sufficient capabilities to try to implement this plan in practice.
“And if Russia refuses in the end — that can also happen, don't forget. However, there are now real signs that the foundation for stopping hostilities already exists,” he emphasized.
