Minsk Resident Saw a Box of Rotten Cherries in a Capital Supermarket
Yulia went into the 'Hippo' supermarket at 40 Asanalieva Street and was unpleasantly surprised by the quality of the cherries being sold there. The girl wrote about it on her Threads account.
Cherries from Uzbekistan were bruised and clearly showed signs of rot. Interestingly, they were sold under the bright label 'Fresh Boom', writes Blizko.by.
— Can you buy these for your children? Or for yourself as a snack, — the girl fumed.
In the comments, many shared Yulia's outrage:
— 'Every year I don't understand why chain stores sell this. Every time the cherries look simply terrible';
— 'At 'Belmarket' on Varvasheni, the same ones are lying there today, awful';
— 'I have complaints about 'Hippo', but I haven't seen such cherries yet'.
Representatives of the retail chain contacted the girl and promised to remove the low-quality goods from the shelves. She promised to come and check if the staff had removed the rotten cherries.
