Two-month-old baby accidentally poisoned with citric acid from a kettle
A terrible situation in Baranavichy.

In Baranavichy, on June 6, a two-month-old baby was hospitalized with a diagnosis of "acute accidental poisoning with a chemical substance," Belta reported, citing SK representative Aliaksandr Sukhadolski.
A woman with her infant child came from abroad to visit her mother. At that time, the grandmother decided to clean the kettle of scale and put citric acid into it, without warning her daughter about it.
"The woman, unsuspecting, poured water from the kettle to prepare formula and began to feed the baby from the bottle. When she realized there was citric acid in the container, she raised the alarm and called emergency medical help," the official representative of the SK (Investigative Committee) said.
The boy received the necessary medical assistance in time, and his life and health are not in danger.
