Lithuania, Poland, and France began exercises in the Suwalki Gap
They will last until June 26.

"Today, the Gallant Boar 2026 exercises begin on the Polish side of the Suwalki Gap, during which the Lithuanian and Polish Armed Forces, who are organizing the exercises, and participating French military personnel will train to perform joint operations in the area. The goal of the exercises is to defend the Suwalki Gap," the Lithuanian Army reported.
Due to the exercises, military equipment may be moved in the Klaipėda — Poland direction these days and after St. John's Day [Lithuanian summer solstice holiday, celebrated on June 24 — NN].
