22-year-old "Simpson" from Babruisk lasted three months in the war against Ukraine. But the outcome is like everyone else's

Ilya Kryshtapovich went to sign a contract in Moscow because the payments there are higher. Now his mother is trying to get additional "coffin money" from the Russian authorities.

Ilya Kryshtapovich was born on July 28, 2002, he is from Babruisk. He studied at the Babruisk State College named after A. Ya. Larin to be a machine operator, and mastered the laser cutting program.

He decided not to work in his specialty, and in 2025, he went to the front. Ilya stayed at the Moscow hostel "Temporary Home 2". Most likely, this hostel was needed for temporary registration, as his mother later stated in Telegram chats that he signed a contract with the Russian army specifically from the city of Moscow — where they pay more.

Soon, Kryshtapovich found himself in Ukraine as part of the 1st Motorized Rifle Battalion (3rd company) under the call sign "Simpson".

Approximately three months later, on June 29, 2025, during intense fighting in the Verkhnokamyanske — Siversk direction, the 22-year-old Belarusian went missing.

Eventually, the young man was declared killed even without the presence of a body.

The parents have already managed to receive basic funeral payments for their son. Now the Kryshtapovich family is seeking additional regional Moscow payments.
