Hackers Leaked Ksenia Sobchak's Correspondence — About Censorship and Moving at the Start of the War. There Are Also Conversations with Yermak

On July 8, Ksenia Sobchak stated that hackers had breached her email and for some time gained access to her Telegram channels. Hacker group Black Mirror and the project «VCHK-OGPU» published many screenshots and voice messages from Sobchak (though she herself did not acknowledge their authenticity).

From these correspondences, it follows that the censorship of Sobchak's channels (these are the YouTube channel «Ostorozhno, Sobchak» and Telegram channels «Ostorozhno, Novosti», «Ostorozhno, Moskva», «Sobchak», «Krovavaya Barynya») are overseen by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Alexey Nemeruk and CEO of the "Dialog" organization Vladimir Tabak (linked to Putin's administration), who transmits instructions from Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko.

Sobchak came, for example, for an interview with Ilya Remeslo — this pro-government blogger suddenly spoke out against Putin and ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Sobchak initially defends herself: «I honestly believe that such a jerk with these theses is currently beneficial to SVK (this is how Kiriyenko is encrypted, by his first initials. — NN)». Tabak gets angry: «I want you to live with the feeling that I might not forgive you».

The Presidential Administration of Russia and the Moscow Mayor's Office were dissatisfied with Sobchak's channels' posts about the drone attack on Moscow. She sends Tabak a voice message: «If I'm being screwed over, I want to understand why».

Sobchak then wrote to the editor of her news projects, Sergey Titov, to report on the coverage of the drone attack on Moscow. He writes: «I suggest a convenient loophole, as it has been many times — say that you have an uncontrollable idiot, and fire me, that will remove their negativity».

«Seryozha, damn it, can you not create negativity? I'm not going to become a foreign agent because of you and your constant shit», — answers Sobchak.

Titov writes: «Your whole country is on fire, I cannot but write the truth. And I'm not going to lie». «Damn it, for what? Why do you constantly compromise those who cover your ass?» — Sobchak was indignant. Later she replies that they are not asking her to lie.

In the correspondences with Tabak, they also discussed socialite Victoria Bonya, who recorded an appeal to Putin, where she spoke about societal problems and fear of the authorities. Tabak says that he discussed this with Kiriyenko for half the evening and that Bonya is just hyping it up. Sobchak doesn't believe him and says: «Everything is very cleverly done — as if the boyars are bad, but Putin is always good».

Sobchak sends a separate audio report to Nemeruk when gasoline problems started in Moscow. She says: «We have agreements, we fulfill all of them, but from the other side, they dictate every single thing to us... Yes, we have signed papers, we do everything on our part, but in return, there's no exclusivity, no promised stories» — and asks Nemeruk for a meeting.

At the beginning of the war, Sobchak corresponded with Andrey Yermak (then head of Zelenskyy's office), Medusa reports the details. He called the journalist intelligent and said they had many mutual acquaintances. Sobchak describes how her editorial office is moving after the start of the war.

«Well, for now, I left the country with my child. But my mother and husband are there. The editorial office is moving and will work here. Unfortunately, there are no accounts or citizenship here, so we are figuring it out. In the coming days, we will finish relocating the editorial office, and we will decide something. For now, we are writing verified information and trying honestly to fulfill our professional duty. But the situation is very difficult, to be honest. And the conditions as well.»

Sobchak, it follows from other correspondences, traveled to Israel. It was previously reported that she obtained citizenship there.
