A girl was helping her father chop firewood, and it cost her two fingers
On July 15, an accident occurred in the village of Sakalouka, Cherykaw district, as a result of which a 13-year-old girl was seriously injured, reported the Investigative Committee.

Reportedly, the girl was helping her father chop firewood. She was placing a log on the chopping block, but at some point, it wobbled. The girl tried to hold it with her hand, and at that very moment, her father brought down the axe. The blow landed on her daughter's right wrist.

The injured girl was urgently taken to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed traumatic amputation of two fingers of her right hand, as well as a lacerated wound to another finger.
