"We are now paid $700 salaries." The author of the video with Uzbek protest recorded a new one and urges to delete the old one

In the Uzbek Telegram channel "Migrantlar 24 | Мусофирлар" a video appeared from one of the men who came to work in Belarus. He calls himself the author of the video expressing dissatisfaction with working conditions and urges everyone to immediately delete it from everywhere, because now, he says, everything is much better than before.

"Dear citizens, please quickly delete the video I circulated. If you posted it on your channels, delete them all. That video was shot on the first day, on the first day at the new job, when we had just arrived…

That job turned out to be different, but now… This is a new job, they are offering it to all of us. Now they are providing work for this number of people.

At that time, I also filmed a video, I filmed it myself. There was a community for citizens of Uzbekistan, and in this "Uzbekistan-Belarus" community, I shared the video to show the conditions of those who came and have not yet left, to show that these are our conditions. And you took it and spread it across all social networks. Never do that again.

We are now paid $700 salaries, they provide free accommodation…", the man claims.

Earlier, in a recording presumably made in Vitebsk, a large group of men addressed the head (hakim) of Andijan region, Shukhratbek Abdurahmanov, and complained about the conditions they were offered after their arrival.

According to them, during a meeting with a representative of the employer, they were informed that the salary would be about $500 per month, and they would have to cover food and accommodation costs themselves.

"He said: if there's a job for more than $500, then go, I won't give more money. Salary is $500, food at your expense, you pay for accommodation yourself," the migrants say.

They claim that no one agreed to such terms.

"All the rest of us – no, we won't work for $500," they say.

One of the men explains that after paying for basic expenses, almost nothing would be left from the salary.
