Farewell to the writer will take place on Sunday in Warsaw.

“In accordance with Sviatlana’s will, her body has been cremated. Family and close friends had the opportunity to say goodbye to her the day before. An urn with her ashes will be present at the farewell ceremony,” announced Sviatlana Kurs's family on her Facebook page.
“Please refrain from taking photographs,” the family appealed to those who come to say goodbye to the writer.
The farewell ceremony for Sviatlana Kurs will take place in Warsaw tomorrow at 2 PM at St. Alexander's Church (plac Trzech Krzyży 3/5). A civil memorial service will begin at 3:30 PM at the Museum of Free Belarus on Foksal 11 street.
